Floor plans for property photographers
If you are already on site for the shoot, you have covered the most expensive part of a floor plan: travel and access. The capture itself costs a few extra minutes in a normal flat — and it is a service agents ask about anyway.
The pitch to the client is easy: photographs and plan from one appointment, in one visual language, with one point of contact. For you it is an additional service with no additional journey.
Capturing during the shoot
Capture the plan while the light is not right for photography anyway, or straight after the shoot while the property is still staged. A three-room flat needs only a few minutes for a scan or a quick measuring round.
Either way, note two control dimensions — the longest external wall and one room width. You will need those later to verify the scale, and on site they cost thirty seconds.

Post-production at the desk
The real work happens afterwards: naming rooms, checking areas, verifying openings and adding restrained furniture. Expect a little under half an hour per flat when the capture was clean.
Keep the presentation calm and consistent. A plan that matches your photographs graphically becomes a recognisable part of your work — and is far easier to sell than a technically overloaded drawing.
Delivery to the client
Deliver at least two formats: a PDF for the brochure and the file, and an image at sufficient resolution for portals. If the client uses an agency system, the OpenImmo export is a selling point, because it removes the retyping of areas.
A spatial 3D view is a sensible extension of the offer, especially for empty properties — precisely where photographs are naturally weakest.
